Abstract:
The experiment was conducted in the field of Sher-e-Bangla
Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the period from
November, 2009 to January, 2010. The experiment consisted of two
factors. Factor A: Nitrogen

: 0
: 100
and N
: 150 kg/ha respectively; and Factor B: Plant spacing

: 40 cm × 20 cm, S
2
: 40 cm × 25 cm; S
: 40 cm × 30 cm. The
Experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design

case of spacing the highest yield
