Abstract:
An experiment was conducted in the experimental field of Sher-e-Bangla
Agricultural University, Dhaka to determine the effect of different nitrogen fertilizer
doses and various irrigation levels on growth and yield of mustard during the period
from November 2019 to February 2020. The experiment consisted of four levels of
nitrogen viz.control-0 kg N ha

in two factors Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications.
Considering the application of nitrogen, N

in terms of yield and yield contributing parameters such as number of siliqua plant
(78.30), length of siliqua (4.57 cm), number of seeds siliqua

parameters of mustard and these can be considered essential practices for higher
mustard production.
