High temperature exerts adverse effect on the growth, physiology, developmental
processes and yield of wheat. In Bangladesh the winter is very short. So, timely sowing
of wheat seeds can be helpful. The experiment was laid out in a Completely Randomized
Design with three replications at the net house of the Department of Agricultural Botany,
Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period from November 2019 to
March 2020 to find out the effect of high temperature stress on growth, physiology and
yield of wheat. The experiment comprised of two factors; Factor A: Variety (4); V
