Abstract:
The experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla
Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period from March - August 2014, to find
the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus on growth and yield of okra. BARI Dherosh-1
was used as test crop in the experiment. The experiment was laid out in Randomized
Complete Block Design with three replications and was consisted of two factors.
Nitrogen fertilizer as N

parameters were significantly influenced by different levels of nitrogen and
phosphorus. Due to the effect of nitrogen, the highest yield

For
combined effect, the highest yield

combination for okra production.
