dc.description.abstract An experiment was conducted at the Horticulture farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period from October 2014 to April 2015to study the effect of potassium and indole acetic acid on growth and yield of tomato. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design 0 = Control, K 1 = 110 kg/ha K 2 O, K = 140 kg/ha K 2 Oand K 3 = 170 kg/ha K O respectively andFactor B 0 = Control, I 1 2 = 25 ppm, I = 50 ppm IAA and.In case ofpotassium, K 2 2 produced the highest yield produced the lowest yield 2 0 treatment produced the highest yield 0 produced the lowest yield produced the highest yield 0 I produced the lowest yield 2 I 2 treatment combination. So, 140 kg/ha K 2 0 O with 50 ppm IAA was found suitable for growth and yield of tomato. en_US
