The study was conducted at Horticultural Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural
University, Dhaka during the period from April2013 to March 2014. The
experiment had two factors. Factor A: Three levels of organic manure; M
Control,
M
1
- Cowdung: 30 t/ha and M
- Poultry litter: 20 t/ha; Factor B: Four
levels of gibberellic acid; G
0
- Control, G
2
1
- 100 ppm, G
2
- 200 ppm and G
– 300
ppm respectively. The experiment was laid out on Randomized Complete Block
Design with three replications. Application of organic manure with different
concentration of GA
showed significant variations on most of the parameters. In
case of organic manure, the highest yield of spike
3
and the lowest spike
0
.In case of GA
2
, the highest yield of spike
3
and the lowest spike
0
2
.For combined effect the highest yield of spike
2
G
and the lowest spike
0
G

.The highest benefit cost ratio

G
So, application of poultry litterat 20
t/ha with GA
3
0.
at 200 ppm was found suitable for growth, flowering and yield of
tuberose. |
