ADOPTION OF ROOF GARDENING AT MIRPUR-10 AREA UNDER DHAKA CITY

Abstract

The main purpose of !hc study was to determine the extent of adoption ot roof gardening at Mirpur- ] 0 area under Dhaka city. Attempts were also macic U describe some selected characteristics of the building inhahilants of this area. The selected elm racicrisi cs were: age. Family S2ZC. 1im ily education, Iamilv annual income, roof gardening experience, use of information sources, attitude towards roof aardenilia , and knowledge on roof gardening. One hundred respondents were randomly selected from Mirpur- 10 a rca tinder Oliaka city. Da!a were collected by using a jrctcstcd personal irtten'icw schedule during May2006.
